parking at Wittering

Where is the best place for parking at Wittering? I don't mind paying a quid or two but when it gets into the 5 plus region I think that is a bit on the wicked side. I might have to build a little trailer to go behind my pushbike. All replies gratefully received.

Hi there,

The main thing to be aware is that West Wittering is very expensive to park by the beach near the sand dunes (especially in the summer).

Park and surf in Bracklesham and East Wittering where it's free or cheap or if you do go to West go early in the morning when it is cheap or park on the main road and walk which takes about 10 minutes.

In need of local wisdom! I am in the process of moving to Brighton and would be very grateful about any "does and donts" with the local surf community. For example other than Hotpipes are there any other areas which ban SUP boards.
