Well I'm christening the new board with one of those old chestnuts - good campsites in SW France, say, Lacanau ish.
Kid friendly, near the beach (of course), not a megasitethemepark.
Ideas welcome!

The main site at Hourtin Plage is awesome.

Remember to use the Royan ferry as it saves 100/200km.

Look what I got last week!

Cheers Matt! Looks like you scored too.
Have you surfed up to Carcan?

Yes, I went there. It was close by but the banks were not as good as Hourtin.

The banks at Lacanau also seemed not to be as good as Hourtin either. But it could have been to do with the swell direction.

Also try 'Le Pin Sec', which is the next main beach north of Hourtin. Banks are usually just as good, but half the crowds :D
