worst surf in UK
Hi, I am a bit bored at work and wondered if anyone had a clue as to where the worst coastal area for surf is in the UK, my guess is Norfolk, but I have no clue, is anywhere completely terrible and pointless even to own a board?
Re: worst surf in UK
Norfolk's actually ok, especially da North Shore, that gets swell from the Arctic.
I'm tempted to nominate Brighton, but we all know that's untrue.
The NW coast from the Mersey upwards must be pretty dire as little swell gets that far up the Irish Sea. A lot of west coast of Scotland is in the swell shadow of Ireland. However, the east coast of Scotland ain't far and there's also a long drive to the North Coast gems.
