SAS Beach Clean this Saturday at PRTP
At Paddle Round The Pier 2012 we set an amazing new record of 257 beach clean volunteers as part of our SAS Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project. This year we intend to break that record by recruiting over 300 volunteers of all ages, to join us on the beach at Paddle Round The Pier at 2pm on Saturday the 7th of July and we need your help! We will ask everybody to collect at least 10 items of marine litter and as a thank you everybody will receive a free t-shirt and a glass of wine (over 18s only) and the chance to win SAS prizes. Here is the link to the write up of last year’s Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project on our website: http://www.sas.org.uk/news/2012/08/22/s ... mpic-year/
With stunning weather forecast and a great festival crowd, we are really excited about the possibility of setting a massive new record… If you’d like to get involved you can email us on pow@sas.org.uk , register your interest on our FB page ‘Surfers Against Sewage’ or just come along and say hello at the SAS tent or meet us under the SAS flags on the beach in front of the Lawns Cafe at 2pm on Saturday the 7th of July.
Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you (and as many friends, family, colleagues and strangers as you can persuade) this weekend.
