Went for an early morning surf today & was there at 0640am. Incredibly the Parking meter does not accept cash until 0700am. So you cannot put any money in, I like to put in 50p to take me to 1000am. Be very annoying to get a parking fine at 0930am as you didn't have a ticket.
Anyway, I rang up Adur Council (0845 680 0189) & asked them to see if they can change the machine to allow payment at anytime.
(hard to believe it used to be a free car park & then it used to charge April to October & now its 365 days a year !).

Nice surf today in shelter.
