Late season Indo

I might have an opportunity to go to Indo in the second half of October.

Is this too late season?

Also i would like to get stand up crazy ass long barrels. Im goofy footed so thinking Desert point or G-land. Anyone been lucky enough to surf both these places and can say which would be better? I dont mind get slammed on the reef too much so long as i can get pitted!
