newquay in February?

looking to get a couple/few locals from brighton down to newquay for a weekend of surf in feb. Be a lot cheaper if sharing petrol costs, and i know a few hostels that always give me good prices.

looking for mid feb - hostel is around £15 for 2 nights including breakfast, petrol in my car there and back is around £100.

Any takers??
