According to this report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-32739655 Lancing Beach Green - much used by kitesurfers and sometimes by surfers - is likely to fail new bathing water standards. It'll probably be because of polluted water coming through combined sewers or flowing off the roads.
