Re: Competeing for Team GB in Fiji!
You should ask James at Sharkbait to mention it on the website, will get the word out.

Holiday suggestions
Looking to take time off next summer to travel with the family. Unfortunately am the only one of 4 who surfs so although I want to get as much surfing in as possible, need to consider the others. A lot of decent surf spots are often a bit remote and inaccessible, so can anyone recommend an area wher...

Re: Competeing for Team GB in Fiji!
I'd suggest setting up a page on a donation website either go fund me/justgiving etc. I think there are some that are not just for charities but for great causes like yours. If you set up a page pretty sure that most of the Brighton surfing community and no doubt further afield i.e. West Country &am...

Re: Soldiers Surf - SUP Trashed my board
if you weren't on a longboard at Saunton what were you surfing there before your SUP? Sure if someone drops in on you or gets in the way or vice versa then always a thumbs up or quick sorry is best, whether you know them well or not and I don't advocate keying/damaging someones car nor would I sugge...

Re: Soldiers Surf - SUP Trashed my board
We get big surf here, the quality is lacking but not the size. Even so getting an SUP in the head at 2ft isn't going to be fun, let alone on bigger waves. And you don't have to be sat on the inside like a lemon, typically you'd be paddling back to the lineup. Forgive my abrasive approach, but pleasa...

Re: Soldiers Surf - SUP Trashed my board
No you're quite right. I think you should organise a work shop on being nice in the water and then you can all have a group hug and knit some tea cosys. And for the record if some clown came charging uncontrollably straight at me on dry land with a 10ft long, 8kg fibre glass board, with a massive sh...

Re: Pollution November 7th
Surfing in $hit brown water, in a river mouth inside of a harbour, in th english channel following a big downpour after several weeks of fine weather & no rainfall, so all that lovely gloop is all back up plus being surrounded by ***** on SUPs. You'd have to be a sewer rat or a ninja turtle to n...

Re: Soldiers Surf - SUP Trashed my board
I am all for tempers getting flared at the marina and anywhere else for that matter. People always drivel on about localism aggro but essentially a bit of aggro is essential to keep some order and ensure people don't get hurt or take the pi$$. A mean crowd, gnarly reef and lumpy solid surf is good f...

Re: Soldiers Surf - SUP Trashed my board
That really sucks & I feel very bad for you dude. I know I am going to be grilled for saying this but every time I paddle out at marina and I see either some old dude or a chick on a longboard or someone on an SUP it scares me shitless and I give them as wide a berth as physically possible, beca...
