Hey Roughneck, yeah Id agree with Graywig. Im from North Devon - so would recommend Saunton Sands for sure. You dont need to stay in Saunton as its generally expensive. Stay in Braunton and drive to the beach, it's only 3 miles away. Plenty of good surf schools and hire. If you're thinking of Europe...

Hey guys, im looking to buy a board and trying to work out what brand/shaper to buy from. Im after a UK shaper ideally - for UK waves. I sometimes surf Brighton, but mainly Devon and Cornwall. Any unbiased reviews would be great! Dave
