Anyone else get the shits after surfing today? I went out in the harbour early, it stank (as it often does) and I've had the 'Shoreham's revenge' all afternoon. The storm outfall is marked on this map - I can easily imagine it coming back in, and anyway goodness knows what comes down the river... ht...

I often beach comb in kemptown, and these are common (the bottom type on the SAS page, but they're pinky brown).
Never known what they were. I have a couple at home - I'll try and email you a pic.

Well I'm christening the new board with one of those old chestnuts - good campsites in SW France, say, Lacanau ish.
Kid friendly, near the beach (of course), not a megasitethemepark.
